Michael Barron is an award-winning leader in agriculture, technology, and sustainability, currently serving as the Global Technology Strategy & Innovation Lead for Ecosystem Services at Bayer Crop Science. He drives Bayer’s regenerative agriculture initiatives, assessing and developing innovative technologies that measure and verify the impacts of sustainable farming practices across 4 million acres globally. With a strong background in partnerships and securing investments, Barron has significantly advanced climate change mitigation in the agricultural sector. His previous roles include positions at Bayer Strategy & Business Consulting, AeroFarms, the USDA, and Ingleby Farms. A Fulbright and Forbes 30 Under 30 alum, he holds degrees from Harvard, LSU, Indiana University, and Wharton. Beyond his professional work, Barron mentors emerging leaders and engages in community initiatives to promote sustainable agriculture. He resides in Philadelphia with his wife and daughter.
