Adam Bent is serving as the CEO of impact-consumer seafood brand, Scout. He’s also a founding member of the Seafood Collab, uniting emerging seafood CPG brands dedicated to fostering a regenerative ocean food system. Adam served as VP at Provender, an AgriFood-tech platform that tackled inefficiencies in local food supply chains for the wholesale industry. He was the Canadian leader for Urbanspoon, building a hospitality community and forging food media partnerships as food and restaurants surged into the fabric of pop culture. He founded tech platforms thisopenspace and Uppercase, working with leading consumer brands in their retail expansion. Beyond his role at Scout, he actively advises founders operating at the intersection of food systems, climate and mission-driven brands, holding advisory and board roles. Adam is a nerd of innovative and responsible business models and seeks to improve our relationship with our oceans and waterways as a regenerative food system.
