Founder & Principal, BEAM Partners
Sam Landercasper is the Founder and Principal of BEAM Partners, a consulting practice that helps nonprofits, philanthropies, and government agencies build stronger systems of food security and financial stability. Working in the United States and abroad, BEAM’s engagements span strategic planning, systems development, and organizational project and change management, with a consistent focus on rural and geographically isolated communities that are underrepresented in national food security efforts. Sam brings more than fifteen years in public service to the work, including a tenure as Deputy Director of Human Services for Pitkin County, Colorado, and a track record of convening regional food security coalitions. He holds an MA in Public Management from Johns Hopkins. Raised on an organic beef farm in Minnesota, Sam is now developing a nonprofit Farm Manager Fellowship on his family’s regenerative organic farm there.
