Ronnie Webb is an accomplished executive, environmental justice advocate, and community leader with over a decade of experience advancing sustainable development, food equity, and environmental health. He is the co-founder and executive director of The Green Scheme, a Washington, D.C.–based nonprofit that empowers communities of color through environmental education, urban agriculture, and health equity initiatives.
Ronnie’s leadership extends beyond organizational development—he has shaped policy and systems change as an elected member of the D.C. Food Policy Council, where he advised government leaders on strategies to strengthen food access, advance urban agriculture, and build equitable food systems. He also serves on advisory and governance boards focused on sustainability, conservation, and community health.
A graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a degree in Agricultural Economics, Ronnie brings deep expertise in environmental leadership, conservation finance, and sustainable community development. His mission-driven approach is rooted in amplifying community voices, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and advancing racial and environmental justice
